Hi, I’m Cory! Navigating life with a passion for adventure and a heart dedicated to serving others. As a Registered Nurse (RN) holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Clemson University, as well as certifications as a Board Certified – Nurse Coach (NC-BC) and Perinatal Wellness Practitioner (PWP), I’ve spent almost a decade in healthcare. But what really led me to becoming a Mama Coach was seeing the major gaps in support during tough times, especially around pregnancy and early parenthood. Watching this with friends, family, coworkers, you name it, combined with my own nerves about becoming a mom someday, got me focusing my energy on helping moms and families of all shapes, types and sizes through personal, tailored coaching.
When I’m not busy enjoying my amazing career, you’ll find me soaking up life’s simple pleasures. I love trying crazy recipes in the kitchen (emphasis on trying!), fly fishing, hiking, and experimenting with herbs, essential oils and holistic health (yep, I’m certified in holistic perinatal health too!) Porch sitting with my amazing husband and coffee in hand is definitely my happy place (add a beach into that scene and we have perfection). I also admit I am SO on the Pickleball train and feel like I’m pretty much a pro at this point 🙂
I am committed to rebuilding “the village” that families and communities once had. I am eager to share my energetic, quirky spirit and wealth of knowledge with you and your family, so that you can thrive in parenthood feeling confident and prepared!

Good question! We are called The Mama Coach because years ago, when Carrie’s first boy was very small, she often wondered out loud to herself, “Where is my Mama Coach?” and “I need a Mama Coach!”. Carrie searched and searched for qualified support and realized there was a need for qualified support for new families. We recognize that our name can give the impression that we only serve moms, but we will continue to work and learn to ensure our messaging is clear that all people are welcome here. Parents carry a heavy load, and do it with grace. All parents deserve support, and The Mama Coach is the answer you’ve been searching for.
We do not just support moms — we help ALL people. All are welcome here, and we are committed to providing you with quality support, no matter your gender or family dynamic. As we learned in nursing school, your family is who YOU say they are.
We get asked this one all the time. As Registered Nurses, having merely one method does not align with how we were trained to utilize the nursing process.
The Nursing Process is defined as, a “systematic approach to care using the fundamental principles of critical thinking, client-centered approaches to treatment, goal-oriented tasks, evidence-based practice (EDP) recommendations, and nursing intuition. Holistic and scientific postulates are integrated to provide the basis for compassionate, quality-based care” (*1).
Simply put, we will assess your child using our nursing training to determine the best way to help your family reach their goals, walking beside you all the way. You can choose us with confidence, knowing you have picked the most qualified resource to support your family’s journey.

Yes. As Registered Nurses, we have years of training on where to access credible guidelines and information. All of our programming is based on extensive research from credible sources and is updated frequently.
As Registered Nurses, it is our professional obligation to manage client records and confidential information properly. We use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) that is compliant throughout North America. Even though we share the same brand, we are all independent Registered Nurses with our own private practices. As such, we each have our own EMR that is private and secure. We do not share EMR or client information between one another without consent.
Often they are — the answer largely depends on where you live and what your private insurance covers. For example, in Canada, our services are covered under ‘Lactation’, ‘Registered Nurse Services’ or ‘Health Spending Accounts’. In the United States our services can be covered as well, through HSA or FSAs. Reach out to me for more information.
